Stage 1: Venice (Airbnb)
Upon arrival to Venice, you will take a water taxi to the island of Venice. We will spend 2-3 nighs in Venice to acclimate to time change, rest, eat pasta and see the sites. A trip to glass blowing island of Murano is a must.
Stage 2: Lake Bohinj, Slovenia
We will work our way through the alps to Slovenia and the famous Lake Bohinj. Watersports, fishing and amazing food is on the menu. Scenic boat rides or bike rides are another option
Stage 3: Beaches of Rovinj
Rovinj is located in northern pennisula of Croatia. An ancient small city with lots of charm you will get to taste the food, beaches and wonder of Croatia all in one place

There are 2 choices for this trip: Campervan (sleep + drive) or Rental Car + Camping Cottages. Most campgrounds in Europe have both and we will accommodate this so you can join if a campervan is not your cup of tea.

Since we will have limited space, each family will need to plan food for 6 breakfast mornings and 3 dinners. We will try and eat out as a group or two groups 2-3 nights. Kids snacks and simple lunch items will help for on the road.
Where to Fly - Venice
Where to Fly - Venice
Flying to Venice is the best bet. Venice is 2 hrs to Cortina & Dolomites. 3 hrs to Lake Bohinj in Slovenia. 2.5 Hrs Beaches of Bovinj. There is also campervan rentals 15 minutes from the airport.

What to Bring
Pack light and focus layers. It could be 80 degrees or 40 degrees depending the moutains vs ocean. 1 carryon per person. Bags you can stuff in the van (avoid hard sided suitecases)
