Sign Up for Wunder Camp 2025 @ Lake Charlevoix, MI July 30-August 3rd
Widely known as "the land of fire and ice," Iceland is home to some of the largest glaciers in Europe and some of the world's most active volcanoes. Iceland is also the land of light and darkness.
Wunder Camp this year is mobile. We will be renting Camper Vans and traveling each day to new campsites, waterfalls, hikes and black beaches. We will be renting from Go Campers
Glacier Lagoon Boat Trips. Lava Tunnel Caves. Puffin Sitings. Hikes to Craters. Yummy Icelandic Food. The BIGGEST WATERFALLS IN THE WORLD (called a "Foss" in Iceland)
Since we will have limited space, each family will need to plan food for 6 breakfast mornings and 3 dinners. We will try and eat out as a group or two groups 2-3 nights. Kids snacks and simple lunch items will help for on the road. And don't worry their are grocery stores (its pricey though)
Wunder Camp will happen during summer soltice which means...the SUN DOES NOT SET and ice cream shops stay open until 1am. Bring eye masks for sleep and prepare yourself for some late nights. And bring a bathing suit for Hot Pots
Pack light and focus on the potential of getting wet in 45 degrees. Rain Jackets and maybe rain pants are a good idea. Two pairs of footwear (when one gets wet). Layers Layers Layers.

Wunder Camp is brought to you by Starhaven, a new family outdoor products and experiences company launching next year. At Starhaven, we believe in the power of the outdoors for kids development and family connection. Our mission is to reimagine the family outdoor experience making it more comfortable, sustainable and magical.
Wunder Camp is our opportunity to reconnect with family and friends (new and old). It is also a place for us to learn, wonder and dream up new ideas that will help Wunder Families. So we will love feedback on your experience, your camp setup, and your ideas.
